The Treasurer-Tax Collector manages and protects the County's financial assets and ensures the greatest return on
County funds through the efficient collection of property taxes, professional administration of the County treasury
and support to County departments in their effort to recover revenues due to the County.

Under normal circumstances, please use the envelopes supplied with your
tax bill and enclose the original appropriate installment coupon(s) with your check for payment. If you have
misplaced the original envelope, you may use a plain legal sized envelope. Please make sure to enclose
your payment coupon(s) with your payment.

Tax Collector Division: You can obtain payment status and general
information by calling our 24-Hour Property Tax Payment and Information System at (650) 363-4142. You may also
view your property tax liability through our Secured Property System or
Unsecured Property System. If you need additional assistance,
you may speak with a tax representative during office hours. (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) |
Online Credit Card Tax Payments: Credit card payments can now be
made through our Secured Property System or
Unsecured Property System using Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
or American Express. All credit card payments, including a convenience fee, are processed through Official
Payments Corporation, our payment service provider. |
Treasurer Division: You can reach the Treasurer's division during
office hours by calling (650) 363-4580, option #2. |
Bonds: If you have questions on the redemption of General Obligation
Bonds, you may call 650-363-4977. |
Business Licenses: If you have questions on the process of
acquiring a business license for the unincorporated areas of the County, call 650-363-4979.

You will likely find 10 hour metered parking on the street. These meters take nickels, dimes, and quarters.
You may also use the county's parking structure which takes quarters only.
The meters in the county parking structure allow four hours of parking. There is also a ten-hour parking lot at
Middlefield Road and Winslow. |
If you are coming from areas north of Redwood City traveling south on Highway 101,
take the Whipple Avenue exit. This exit places you on Veterans Blvd. Proceed straight on Veterans Blvd. to Middlefield Road. Middlefield
is one short block past the second traffic signal after Whipple Avenue. Turn right onto Middlefield Road. Proceed straight
on Middlefield Road approximately one block to County Center Street. Turn right onto County Center. The entrance to the
building is located at the corner, 555 County Center Street. The parking structure is on the right side of Middlefield
Road just before County Center St. |
If you are traveling Highway 280, take the Highway 92 East exit towards
the San Mateo Bridge. Take Highway 101 South, then follow the directions from Highway 101 above. |
